WebJan 29, 2024 · My son patterned my H&R 410 with factory full choke and TSS. Pattern was turkey acceptable out to about 25 yards but not past that. I’d agree with this. We shoot #10 handloads and at 20-25yds it would be hard for a kid to miss. Very wide and dense pattern at that distance. Very forgiving, but I would want to try a shot much past 25.
