WebI've been lurking on this sub for a little while. Back story: I've struggled with anxiety and depression for 12 years now and never responded well to medicine (or if I did, it only worked for a few months). Long story short, after a 2 month hypomanic state followed immediately by severe depression, I (and my psych) finally put two and two together. WebIt was also determined that 25.4% of the patients suffered from anemia. Thirty-five percent of females and 10% of males were considered as anemic. The frequency of anemia was the highest among psychotic disorder patients (35%), followed by generalized anxiety disorder patients (32%), and obsessive-compulsive disorder patients (26%).
